What people are saying…

“Benish was really great to work with! If you are looking to transition away from the bedside and don’t know where to start- Benish is there to help guide you. She takes your background into consideration and helps you tailor your resume to apply to those jobs of interest. She also has a great referral network. Truly the best part of working with Benish was her prompt and professional responses to any and every question, and her motivating demeanor. I loved working with Benish and learning how to grow my professional skills so they can align with my career goals.”

-R.L, BSN, RN

Transitioned to Quality Specialist RN

“I am so grateful that I reached out to Benish for advice on how to further my nursing career. She opened my eyes to how there are so many options in healthcare and is truly the reason that I didn’t pursue an NP program for the sole reason to leave bedside. She guided me to look into different areas of nursing and to find my niche. Now, if I was to take on an NP program, or any graduate program for that matter, it would be because I truly feel inspired to do it- not because I simply needed an out. Benish was kind and made me feel so understood because she has had so much nursing experience that I felt like she understood the internal conflicts I was experiencing as a burned out nurse. Nursing is a career of compassion, and she helped me realize that you can be a compassionate nurse and also prioritize your own personal needs. Starting this career during a global pandemic was hard enough, having Benish’s listening ear and guidance as I was navigating a tough period with nursing was the light I needed during a period of struggle. She cares to help you figure it out and I genuinely recommend scheduling a session with her because it may bring you a little light too.”

As an NP who is hoping to transition to an MSL role, it was so helpful working with Benish who understood my experience and what I was looking for! I did the B2B Bundle and she helped me go from confusion about which roles to apply to and zero interviews despite many random applications to getting multiple interviews within a month for jobs that I’m excited about. She’s also so nice, direct, efficient, and responsive. She has the inside perspective that is needed to make the transition. I highly recommend her services if you are a clinician interested in moving over to pharma or biotech industry. It’s an intimidating and highly competitive process and her approach will streamline your search so you don’t get lost!

-D.C. MSN, FNP-BC Currently working as a nurse practitioner in a hospital setting Aspiring MSL

“After finishing my boards and attaining my license as a Family Nurse Practitioner I was so lost on how to make my resume more professional and focused more on FNP jobs than Nursing. I reached out to Benish and asked if she could help me recreate my resume so I could start applying to jobs sooner rather than later. She helped me not only make my resume more professional but provided feedback on how to change it up depending on what job I apply for. She was so helpful and responded so quickly to all my emails in regards to job applications and helped me a lot during my time while studying for boards. I would highly recommend her to any and all of my friends when it comes to needing help building your resume, job searching, or career transitioning. Through her help I have been able to get far more interviews with my masters degree than I did when i tried to revamp my resume myself. Thank you so much Benish for being amazing and taking a little bit of stress off of me during this job searching process.”

“If you are ready to take that big leap away from the bedside, you are in the right place. Benish is an amazing coach! This year after talking about about making a transition in my career and spending hours looking for something more in alignment with my career goals, I found the Bedside to Boardroom Program via Instagram. Benish was not only super personable and professional but she literally has encouraged me along the way. I enrolled in Benish’s program where she helped me reconstruct my resume and has helped coached me along the way in understanding that these roles are feasible for someone like me. Benish is great to work with, she’s kind, caring and you can tell that taking nurses from the bedside to the boardroom is more than just business for her it’s a passion. I haven’t yet landed my dream job but Benish has inspired me to dream bigger and give myself space to grow outside of my traditional bedside nursing role. Before joining this program, I questioned whether I had enough experience and I wondered if I was in above my head! Now I feel more confident to find my seat in the boardroom.”

“Benish was great to work with! She was a mentor every step of the way and really helped me tailor my resume to job postings and brought perspective on how I should market myself to companies.  “Are you in a work rut and find yourself settling in a company because you fear starting over? I felt that same pressure where I dreaded building my resume along with applying to new jobs and sitting for interviews. I got to the point where I built a resume, applied to several companies, and only received one interview (which, by the way, didn’t get me the job).

That’s where Bedside to Boardroom (BTB) came in. The best part about this service is that there are no rules. I didn’t have to be a physician, RN, or NP to receive advice. We started off by discussing which positions to apply for based on my goals and qualifications. You may think this is the easiest part of the process, but this took the longest. It is important to speak to someone who is looking outside in. It gives a perspective that you may lack and may have also been the reason why I wasn’t getting many job hits. After narrowing down the choices, we proceeded to build a more focused resume that appealed to the employer. Although some changes may have seemed subtle, it made a tremendous impact. After I received my first interview call, BTB gave me a full rundown on how to highlight my strongest qualities. However, what pushed it over the edge was explaining how I am qualified for an upper-level position, in a Biotech or Corporate company, without having any experience in that role. How I took this next step was crucial to the entire application process. Most medical professionals believe that the bedside, or in my case the laboratory, is the end game. Many companies are searching for professionals that have the experience in medical settings but also want to trust that you can handle the pressure of the role. Thanks to BTB I was able to find a job that fit my lifestyle, goals, and salary preference. I highly recommend using this service. It is important to invest in yourself at this point of your career development process because it will set you up for the rest of your life.”

Benish was so helpful and had a lot of knowledge to share. She was able to guide me with information and feedback on different opportunities that are available to nurses working bedside who want a change but don’t know how to get started. She was able to direct me in searching for key terms and opportunities that fit what I was looking for and what I was interested in. I would highly recommend having her as a resource in the journey from bedside to boardroom.

“Benish is so knowledgeable about the different opportunities available away from the bedside. When I was exploring a career transition, I knew very little about what roles were out there and how transferable my skill set was. She helped me understand different job descriptions and pin down roles that would be a good match. Thanks to Benish I know what roles I’m looking for and how to pitch myself in the interview process!”
